How does the ConFoot-leg® system work?

The ConFoot-leg® system makes container handling easy. Within a few steps, your container is stable on ConFoot legs:

Using the air suspension, put the trailer in the highest air suspension position.
Unlock the twist locks.
Attach the ConFoot legs to the four corners of the container.
Lower the trailer using the air suspension and drive away.

Upon retrieval, repeat these steps in reverse order.

What is ConFoot and why is it unique?

ConFoot is an innovative solution for loading and unloading containers without a forklift or crane. The system consists of lightweight container legs that are easy to attach.
Thanks to its compact design and low weight, one person can safely load and unload containers. This saves time, costs and increases flexibility at your site.

How can you apply the ConFoot CF/CFP/CFL sets?

The containers are delivered on a chassis with air suspension.
Once the container needs to be loaded off the trailer then:
Is the trailer raised to the highest position with the air suspension
The container latches (twistlocks) can be loosened
The ConFoot container legs attach to the four corners of the container
The trailer is lowered with the air suspension
The trailer can now be driven out from under the container, which is now standing on the ConFoot container legs

When picking up the container, the above steps take place in reverse order.

For containers at a loading dock, the CFP set is used. (See the 3rd video on this page)

How can you apply the ConFoot CFU set?

The containers are delivered on a chassis (it does not have to be a chassis with air suspension).

Once the container needs to be loaded off the trailer then:

Are the container latches (twistlocks) loosened
CFU version container legs are attached to the four corners of the container
With the help of the hydraulic jacks, the container is lifted up a bit step by step
The trailer can be driven away from under the container once the container is free of the chassis.
The container now stands on the CFU version container legs and can remain on them for long periods of time.
The container can now be lowered step by step with the hydraulic jacks until it is on the ground

When picking up the container, the above steps take place in reverse order.

The load capacity of the standard CF set is 34T
The load capacity of the CFP set and the CFL set is 30T
The load capacity of the CFU set is 20T or 30T

Application of CF/CFP/CFL sets

The CF, CFP and CFL sets are ideal for containers on trailers with air suspension. With these sets, you can place containers directly on legs and leave them safely in place. For containers on a loading dock, use the CFP set, as shown in the third video on our page.

Application of CFU set

The CFU set can lift a container from the floor to above chassis height and lower it in reverse. attaches the legs and lifts the container step by step with hydraulic jacks. This allows the container to be placed on the floor or lifted
